Rainbow Bridge

Charlie
Charlie was taken from his
loving adoptive family much to soon. He was lost to colic at the
young
age of 12. We all miss him with all our hearts. He was
a truly
special horse that gave everything he had. This picture is
of my mom and it is the very first time she had ever
gotten on a horse! I'm glad it was Charlie's honor.

Cobalt
Cobalt was rescued several years ago by Barb. He
was already an older gent and very thin, but that didn't
stop him. He rebounded and had several more years of
fun with her. He was always willing to trail ride and he so loved
to run!
He was humanely euthanized in Nov. 2001 when his body could no
longer keep up with what his mind told him he could do.
Run free, dear Cobalt.

Molly
We are sadly had to euthanize Molly this
morning
April 17th 2002.
She's had a really rough couple of weeks and
we just could not make her
comfortable. We're still in shock as she went
downhill very quickly.
I also want to thank Beth and Jeff for the
care they have given Molly.
They did an incredible job with her and went
above and beyond
in their care of her. I know they'll miss
her
alot also and I want to thank them for
everything.

Jet
Sadly put to rest September 18th, 2002.
It was a tough decision to have him put to rest
but he just couldn't go on any long.
We miss him terribly.

Cochise
After a long life of trail riding and lessons.
He is awonderful baby sitter and a joy to be around.
He is quite the character!
Cochise crossed to rainbow bridge at about
age 40. He is greatly missed by everyone.

Thor's
Thank you to Susan for giving
Thor a wonderful home for the time he was with her.
He was very loved and we are grateful for that.

Kohl
Kohl took a turn for the worse and
had to be euthanized ( Oct, 2007).
Our deepest condolences to you Kat.
Thank you for all you have done for him.

Dom
His health had started declining over the last month
or so and it got to the point that despite everything the vets
and his adoptive mom tried, he did not get better and
was unable to rise yesterday (Oct 27, 2007).
The treatments were not working and
there was nothing more we could do.
For those of you that knew him, you know what a strong,
stubborn, but sweet to the core, ole guy he was and
he didn't lose that--even at the end--he was still trying,
but his body just could no longer keep up with his spirit.
Our condolences to you Ann and Thank You
for all the love and care you
gave him.

BJ
BJ has always been very special to
us.
He had so much spirit and
will to live that he amazed
all of us here at Tender Mercy including
our vet and farrier. We feel blessed having him
in our lives as long as we did.
He will be missed
but never forgotten.

Big Len
He made great strides here but the abuse
his body suffered
ultimately proved to be
too much for him to overcome.
We miss this big guy
Thank
You to:
The Seidman family for sponsoring Big Lenny
and helping so much with his expenses and
helping us get the new barn up
Also to:
Billie Curtis as well for
also being a monthly sponsor of the horses, esp. for Big Lenny
To Anita, for her tireless
efforts in getting Len to us and
Laurie Masters for an incredible job hauling him safely to us.
We
couldn't
being doing all this
without all your help!
