Our New Rescue
Faculties!
It has been a slow process but
we are slowly making headway in building our new place.
We thought we'd share a few pictures with you of our progress.

Our pastures going up! Oh how the horses love this!

Here are a couple of our shelters.
They will protect our horses from the weather and provide
shade for them whenever it's needed.

We even are starting on our ROUND PEN!

We have done so much, yet we have so much more to go!
Our building project will be going on for sometime.
We'll be having different fundraisers to support our effort.
With your help and donations it is making this all possible!
We have so much more to go however. If you can help with
supplies of any kind, volunteering your time or giving
 cash donations, it all helps!

Update November 8th....

Here is the starting of  our 6 stall barn!
Yes, after all this time, it is actually started.  Jim and I have been working
very hard for two days, but finally have it all framed in.
It is 30 by 36  (6 10X12stalls, plus 10 ft aisle way).
Now we have to frame in the walls, and ceiling, then do the roof.
Lots and lots of 2X4's that's for sure-LOL

Progress- November 24th
We getting much closer to being done!

Thank God for  a  wonderful husband and generous support
of the Seidman family.  It is through their donation that this
is even possible and I just don't know how to thank them enough!
This certainly is not pretty but it will keep the horses sheltered and
a nice dry area for them for this winter!
Thank you.... for your generous donation
to make this possible!

Update:

September, 2007!
Boy are we getting this all together or what?
Here's our round pen finished and our barn nearly all sided now!
We are so happy about this. We are also adding a new
barn addition before the snow flies!
This is the tranformation of our "Tarped" shelter
turning into this  wonderful, very rustic looking and just what we
want for our rescue. Our roundpen matches
our barn that also is very rustic and gives us very
much the "feel" of days of old.
We still have so much more hard work ahead but, it's coming
and we are so proud of what we have done.

and some of our visitors on page two below
